Me, My Dad & My Hawkeye ♥
This tried & true Kodak Brownie Hawkeye Flash camera was given to me by my Brother who acquired it somehow from our Dad. Dad picked it up in the late 1950′s as a young, Dutch immigrant guy living & farming in Southern Alberta. Seeing that I love this camera so much and tote it around faithfully from country to country, I thought I would share with you some of my favourite Brownie Hawkeye photos from around the world.

I ♥ my Dad to bits and he’s going to be 70 soon, so in his honour, I’d like to show you a very cool picture of him from his younger days!
(Not taken with the Hawkeye unfortunately.)
PS – Recently Kodak asked me to do a guest blog post about my travels and my little piece of Kodak history. Have a look!
This is awesome! Great photographs using a classic camera. We love them all, but if we had to choose, Dave loves the shot from Rio and I love the shot of your dad. We're looking forward to seeing more of your photographs. Glad that we found another fellow Canadian traveler. Cheers!
I really enjoyed the pictures. Your dad is great!
